Tina moved to Roaring Spring in October 2007 to be closer to her remaining family in State College. She and Paula purchased a great fixer-upper property, which is now the Bed & Breakfast.
As you will see on the Dulcimers link, Sunhearth has some great history that she hopes to preserve. Little by little she discovered the history of the place and has been working hard to restore the house and hopefully its tradition of music and camaraderie.
After working in corporate America she decided it was time to try her own business, and since she delights in cooking, entertaining and people, a Bed & Breakfast seemed a perfect fit. Willing to preserve the memory of the beautiful dulcimers and its luthier, the wilderness of the place and the love for animals, she decided to call it Sunhearth Trails and allow animals to enter it.
Born and raised in State College, PA, a townie who went to Penn State, and graduated in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Business.
She moved on to the greater Lehigh Valley area and lived in Allentown for the last 25 years. She was associated with Daytimers for 12+ years, and in the last five years employed with Crayola, LLC (Binney & Smith), as Manager, National Direct Sales.
