SUNHEARTH TRAILS BED AND BREAKFAST
Sunhearth faces Halter Creek, a wild trout stream. There is a rustic trail down to the water. Sunhearth is located south of Roaring Spring, PA, on Route 867 South.
The 5.5 acres were originally part of the Walter & Helen Martin property. Some local history was made here by Walter and his son Michael who crafted stringed instruments, including the very famous Lorraine Lee dulcimer.
The property consists of 2 houses:
The main house with 4 rooms, 3 fire places, 3 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, a kitchen, a sunroom and the reception is the Bed & Breakfast.

The property is surrounded by a pleasant garden and natural landscape. A small playground for kids, and a fenced area with agility equipment for dogs (yes, we welcome dogs) allows for entertainment, while secluded sitting areas offer nice views, peaceful enjoyment and outside smoking areas. Accomodations are comfortable but a bit rustic as we continue our work on the property.
We are expecting to open our B&B in the Fall of 2008, just in time for Penn State Football games.
We will have for now 2 rooms available both with shared bathroom:
week night weekend night 1 Full bed $55 $65 1 Queen bed $55 $65
Breakfast is included, and arrangements can be made for lunch and dinner as well.

DIRECTIONS
After exiting I-99 on EXIT 23, head into Roaring Spring, but take the slight right past the famous Spring Mill Paper Plant of Roaring Spring on your right. It becomes a one way street (Main St). Keep straight. On your left you'll see the Park where the Spring roars. Pass the park on your left, then stay on 867 S, after passing the rail road track (bear right at the STOP sign), go for another 1,1 miles on Bloomsfield Rd (867S), down the hill to Dick Schoolhouse Rd. (on your left)then slow down as you come to the crest of the hill - on your right is Sunhearth Lane. Go to the very end of the lane. Sunhearth B&B is the last house.
